For Sims, all Bodyshape I'm in the process of updating. It takes some time.

Several updates at the forum :

1. Tutorials section with the following * = by me:

- A useful old tute for swimming pools on an upper floor (from a Dutch closed site)

- CrazyTulip?s tutorial to recolour Maxis and custom objects in SimPE (original tute from BPS)

- Change a community lot to residential and SEDD files

- * The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection

- Any default replacement into custom - because not all like default replacements !

- * Retexture a clothing mesh with mauve bump maps in SimPE as seen on Chriko meshes

- Quick tute to recategorise clothes in SimPE

- * How to recolour sims2cri wall sticker mesh (as asked by ranabluu once at Simsparaphernalia forum)

- Removing shadows on objects, easiest tip ever in SimPE by Murano (aka Teko)

- * How to remodel lipsticks to your taste Part 1 (easy)

- * How to add/modify teeth to lipstick - Part 2 (not so easy)

- * Convert a BV binned custom accessory into custom Bodyshop (Glasses)

- Remove securom and run Sims 2 without Origin

- * Posebox animations to extract for Bodyshop in two parts

The "mini Exchange" section added and what is it ?

Some Simmers remember well the old Sims 2 Exchange. But did you know it ? At the very beginning it was intented to ?swap? equivalent content.

For example :

- You would be seeking for a Sim and another member indicates that they got it and would share it. Then you as first requester would have to share as thank you another Sim. It works like swap.

- You can do the same for anything else : you seek a clothing ; you?re lucky, somebody got it and shares it ; and you in return you?ll share another clothing, even if this time nobody in particular would look for it.

Requirements to respect :

- Don?t share VIP stuff from any site or without having asked prior permission
- Don?t seek or share hacks, mods for the Sims 2, especially not from retired modders
- Keep all for Sims, Bodyshop, Build, Buy mode, lots and walls, floors - retextures and meshes included.
- Also make a search via Google before requesting and start swapping.

I think that it?s much better than an ordinary WCIF. As a requester for something you?re looking for and you get it, it challenges you to be in the capacity of saying thank you, also from giving in return something equivalent.

Enjoy and get started !

Some late new due to the Christmas festivities.

Snarf updated earlier last year :

Rio bodyshape with Mila shoes

Snarf and me are also wishing to convert Sims 4 shoes to Sims 2. But at this point myself managed to convert Sims 4 clothes to Sims 2.

The following is at LizCrea Sims 2 Workshop section only for those wishing to effectively train after tutorials. It's a PDF with additional necessary stuff to appy each step one by one.

Sorry for not having posted for a while. I'm currently converting Sims 4 footwear for the Sims 2 and it takes some time.

Snarf had also a little break but updated at his section here :

Hoping your are all well and safe, guys !

I'm currently converting some Sims 4 Bodyshop items like shoes, clothes and accessories. For a few bits, I still need training. So it takes me some time.

Snarf has updated with CPU sets in his LizCrea Sims 2 forum section HERE.

Here is now this huge tutorial on Sims 4 accessories conversions for the Sims 2. Link of the post at LizCrea Sims 2 forum :

http://622277.xobor.com/t918916f75-Sims-accessories-conversion-huge-tutorial.html

It comes in 7 parts and covers almost all. Except headwear.

Files for training are provided. But please note that for the accessories used for conversion, you'll have to grab them on the original creator's site or at TSR.

- Part 1 : conversion of a Sims 4 choker

- Part 2 : conversion of Sims 4 earrings

- Part 3 : basics on nude body bone assignment in Milkshape (useful for other body parts accessories)

- Part 4 : Closer study of finger rings placement bone assignment in Milkshape

- Part 5 : conversion of Sims 4 accessories for nipples

- Part 6 : another altenative for accessories with difficult bone assignement. They can be made as body_alpha or top_alpha on a body or top mesh

- Part 7 : resizing some accessories as separate bits before re-assembling for a new Sims 2 mesh.
