I think I'm going to try to find imaginative names for my lot creations, instead of just calling them "Small House No. 1", etc. So, for your downloading enjoyment, I present to you The Santa Rosa.

Here are the details:

Two bedrooms
Two full bathrooms
Spacious Great Room
Spacious eat-in kitchen
Single car garage
Swimming pool
Deck on back for entertaining
Porch on front for watching the cars and joggers go by

Lot size 3x3

I am offering one version of this mostly furnished (with all vanilla Maxis objects). It still needs some decorations added to it, like paintings on the walls, etc. Also, there is a desk upstairs in the master bedroom. I should have placed a dresser in that little alcove instead. The great room is plenty large enough to add a desk down there.

Mostly furnished price = 91K

Unfurnished version = 48K

No custom content, no hacks.

I hope you like it.

edit: I don't know why the furnished model's file size appears to be smaller than the unfurnished one. I think I got them the right way around; if not, apologies.

Update 06/19/06: I just installed the unfurnished version of this house into a neighborhood and something funky happened with the garage door. If this happens to you, go into Build Mode and replace the door. Please let me know if you have any problems replacing it.

Hey, this looks gorgeous! I think 3x3 is the perfect lot size, by the way. Not too big to play, not so small that everthing is cramped.

One question: Do I need OFB to play this house? I have EP1 and 2 only.

Thanks!

nothelinski - Unfortunately, I'm afraid you do. I have all NL, Uni and OFB. I should put that in my signature or something. Sorry for not mentioning it earlier.

Thanks for the compliment, and I agree with you about the lot size.
