Here is a townhouse built using the same techniques as in my tutorial.  I build my houses with the facilities you normally get when buying a new house in England i.e. just fitted bathrooms and kitchen.  The decor is basic although I do some landscaping outside.  I must confess that I hate interior design with the bog standard Maxis objects so the above is a good reason for omitting any  :wink: In fact the first thing I would do is redesign the whole interior using custom content.

The house itself is on a 2x3 plot, cost's £67,719 and contains the following;

Bedrooms:  2 double size (could be made into 4)
Bathrooms: 3
Garage:      2 (cars not included)

Only Maxis content (boring) and no hacks.

The ground floor is open plan so do with it what you will.  I added a small pool just to fill in some space to the side of the house.
Any comments good or bad are appreciated and let me know if you would like to see any more of my work.

Thanks Jase.  The interior is pretty awlful to be truthful but I will include an overhead shot of the upper floor.  Without custom content I just lose interest in interior design.  I just put in the basics and leave the rest to much more imaginative minds than my own  :lol:

Cher: Thank you, it's nice to be someones hero  :oops: see you at Variousimmers!!!

And thanks to all the other comments I have received.  In case your wondering why all my houses are similar it's because my daughter wants the whole neighbourhood themed.  If your interested, I have some different houses on my old upload site at;

http://www.simsnetwork.com/

You have to register but it's free.  These were all built using just the original Sims 2 and includes a fairly good 'Charmed manor'.

Have a nice evening or day depending on where you are  :cheers:

I don't usually download houses, but this one and the other one of your daughter's is just too good to pass up.  I look forward to modifying it and furnishing it.

This is really really nice. I wish I could make half way decent houses. The only one who thinks the houses I make are awesome is my eleven year old brother.

Excellent work Steve!!  Can't wait to add it to my neighbourhood and furnish it in some tasteful mix!
