Many years later Lara Croft discovers amanda is Alive and Unwell and goes to Kazakzstan to track her down.
Amanda has the ability to change into a creature called "the unknown entity" whenever she removes the pendant from her necklace.
She is Close friends (more?) with James Rutland.
