Mother Nature--ha! Who cares!
Steve Irwin, respected naturalist died after a stingray bit him, so those 37 stingrays we killed and the hundreds we left without their only means of defense--their stinger--deserved it. A now famous director makes a movie about the "Jaws" of a great white. Today, were making soup from their fins...So pretty! look at those trees, the landscape...Wouldn't it be ideal for a mall? We used to think that way, until the artic became slush and the time of the great thaw revealed Atlantis--Right there in plain sight, under a different name, hidden by ice.
We found her in chamber. Y'know those earthquakes, typhoons, tsunami and whatnot we've been getting? They were just Earth's way of fighting back against our ruination. It was it's only defense that we couldn't mount, stuff or eat. Now, however, we have unwittingly discovered her offense. It took only an hour for her to kill 7,000. But she did it worldwide, no bombs, no guns--no witness. Only broken cadavers left for the crows, each belonging to a high political figure.
Armies fought her and lost. Our only recourse now is subservience. We respectfully call her Mistress Kateri; a respectable title for a creature of the dark, and ruler of this planet. Naturally, her authority is tested time and time again by wanna-be leaders, who end up becoming the main course.
I know as well as you this story is fiction. But the sad reality is we are treating this planet like we have a spare in our pocket. Please, for all our sakes, do what you can to take care of it. In the meantime, enjoy this Sim.
I did this for Pam, a fantastic creator on Sapphire Sims 2, the first Sims site I became a member of (Oh, and my name is Silus on that site. I use it whenever possible since it is my handle. But what I cannot, like if it taken, I chose Artamaeus instead). It was based on her fantastic Halloween avatar, that I simply adored. And now, you to can adore this Sim
