Is there a photoskinning tutorial like this for GIMP? i have seen the one on mod the sims 2 but i don't really understand it because some of the pictures are in german and that tutorial uses a different program in which i haven't got or could afford!!!

Any help would be apprieciated!

Sorry but i have been here, all they have is Changing the alpha, Changing textures and a basic recolour, they don't have a photoskinning tutorial that i would like, i am having real trouble finding one :-(

When I started out I asked the same question... For a better photoskinning tutorial and one that was in english.. I had no luck. Anyways after doing a google search the best I got was from here: http://www.simchic.com/tutorials/photoskinning/basic_photoskinning.html its just a shirt but everyone has to start somewhere. Smiley Anyways the best way for me to learn was to try all the differnt things that my photo editing program did. Good luck and have fun and dont get mad if the first few things you make are really ugly.. LOL Cheesy

Thanks for the help! managed to do it with the sim chic one and gave up with gimp and did it with paint shop pro X
