You have to make sure you have the right kind of photoshop, Lytough.  Forinstance, I have a very old PS Elements 3, and that one doesn't recognize ALL the brush types.

I have CS2, so it should recognize them all, I guess.

This site has many helpful links to Gimp tutorials, patterns, brushes, etc!

And here is a tutorial on converting Photoshop brushes into gimp, if anyone needs it.

See what you can do with a little practice
I really recommend those tutorials on this website. I finally tried them today and I was all fuzzy inside from the result! Not that hard once you get the hang of it!

If I can do it, so can everyone so get 'shopping!

I need help with Photoshop CS2.

How do you fade something. Like make it seem transparent? Kinda blend it into the background?

Well, if the thing you want to fade is on a seperate layer, you can just go to the layers tab and set the opacity for that layer to be as transparent as you want~

Edit: Oh! And if you don't want the whole thing to be transparent, you can just crop it using a feather radius of your choice to make it blend better. :3
