In that case I believe I shall be downloading this. Thanks!
Just one question now; what does "str" mean? I know that "ltr" is "life time relation(ship)" but not what the other stands for although I'm guessing it means the daily relationship?

In modspeak STR is "short term relationship", LTR is "long term relationship"

I always found it so annoying that my sims remained in love with people they haven't met for half a lifetime.

I've actually done this more than once in real life, but I agree that it's not a good idea. :-)

I am a little confused by this. Does it clear love/crush flags if STR or LTR are below 70, or if both are?

Also, what happens if Sims are going steady/are engaged/are married? Will it do anything with these unions?

The flags are cleared individually. STR less than 70 clears crush and LTR less than 70 clears love. This doesn't have any effect on going steady/engaged/married flags.

So basically this hack just removes the need to force to sims to have an argument (or any negative social for that matter I guess) to remove the crush/love flags, correct?

It makes them not have a crush or be in love if their relationship score falls below 70 Smiley

Sorry... I made revision typo (i.e., I changed the wording, but didn't read the context to fully do the job). Smiley

The "the need to force to sims" should have read "the need to force THE sims".

Anyway, never mind.  Wink

I just posted an alternate version of this mod that prevents the messages below from poping up.
"Sim 1 and Sim 2 are no longer best friends"
"Sim is no longer a family friend"

oh thankyou! I've really been wanting this for when my sims need to move on to better pastures, without the past partner still lusting after them!
Should be default, hey!
