It took me a while, but I have finaly finnished my vertion of the Tendou dojo, and home from the anime Ranma 1/2.

I had to make a few changes from the actual layout, due to the sims limitations on movment, like i had to put stairs on the porch, was not able to make sliding walls, i made the hallways 2 tiles wide, so on and so forth. but other than that I followed the actual layout of the home/dojo from a few pictures i found on-line for the floor plan and the rest from screen shots i took out of the show.

all of the content is either maxis default or walling and flooring i made myself from either maxis recolor or copying pictures from the show.

there are a few other items I did not include, that can be found on MtS2 like the rocks pictured around the koi pond, and other things I added to the one I am useing in my game like a katana wall hanging i also got from MtS2. but I not only could not remember each and every one I didn't want to require you to have to go web crawling all over to use the house.
I figured you could go get the decorations you wanted for that.
Oh an I believe it was peggysims who made the floor cushens I plan to use ine the living/dining room.

I did decorate a few rooms, like the bedrooms upstairs, to give you an idea of colse to what it should look like in case you did not want to search it out yourself.

This is my 3rd or 4th attempt at this due to problams with removing hacks and other custem content, i would up building the whole house with all of my custem content in another folder so it would not show in game because of teh flashing ground when the ground textures were removed. and I checked it with clean install. so everything should eb clean.

I believe I have included all of the custem content in the house, but just incase that dosen't work I am also uploading the walling and flooring in a seporate rar file or if you dont want the house and just want the wall tiles and floor tiles so you can design your own.

hopefully this will inspire some one who is good at designing clothing and hair to make other things from the show. at the verry least all of you other Ranma-otaku can (I hope) enjoy this house.

feel free to change it anyway you want to make it more approprate to your idea of right or to work in your game, I hope you enjoy. =)

Just found out someone who did not have FFS was having trouble installing it, I did have it installed when I made this, but I didn't think I used anything from it. If I can figure out what is causeing his problem I will make a new file
at the time I had all of the EP's and Stuff packs, (pets wasn't out yet)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
the 天道 Dojo
-----------------------------------------------
the new file, TendoSigns1.rar are the 3 pictured below
-----------------------------------------------
and here is the other sign, 2nd Tendo Sign.sims2pack
it says "To defeat owner in savage combat, use rear door."
野蛮な戦闘の所有者を敗北させるためには、後部ドアを使用しなさい。
writen top to bottom, right to left as it should be.
or well thats what babel fish told me it said lol

...OOOPS, I put the 2nd sign on the wrong side... here you go
so use revised if you the more accurate of the two, or wich ever one you feel like, heh

Oh, this is a Japanese style house.
Wonderful!
I have to let some Asian (yellow skin)sims move this house.

This image is Tendo(u) Dojo in Japanese that is Chinese characters.

Dojo is a place that practice or learn karate, juudo or something etc.(parts of 3d and 4s characters)

Tendo(u) is that 1st character "ten" is sky or heaven and 2d character "do(U) is way, route or road.

Like this a big house that have a fence is said  "bukeyasiki" in Japanese.

thank you for the lovley comments =)
and thank you for the sign, I will have to see about making a sign with that =)

yes, it is supposed to be a dojo, or at least one of the buildings in there is the dojo, and the rest is the house and storage shed, it was taken from one of my faveorite anime's, Ranma 1/2.

http://files.tagworld.com/dab040bd43fb40abba2d67f11f0d99b1.jpeg">

they practice the Tendo and Saotome schools of indiscriminate grappeling or in the dub, Anything goes martial arts.

If I knew how to make objects myself I would have made the sign they had in the show, along with sevral other things to go along with it, like the shrine to the Tendo Okasan (mother) they have in the dojo, I attempted to include it in the wallpaper but was not sucsessfull and eventualy gave up =(

I am a big otaku (yes i know thats in insulting term in japan, here too realy, but us geeks take that as a compliment here usualy hehe) and I spent about 9 years studying an off shoot of a korean form of martial arts when I was younger, I was about a year away from my black belt when I moved away from the school, though that was about 20 or so years ago.

and agian, if anyone has hair or clothing that would be apporprate for those charactors please let me know, I have been looking for them since sims2 came out. too bad I couldn't transfer the ones I had from sims1 into 2 =( lol

If you haven't seen it yet, the one I called Onegai Twins is also (loosly) based on a house from an anime by the same title. tho I had trouble with the stairs the way I wanted and didnt have a very good floor plan, like i did for this one.

again, thank you Tetou, that is a real compliment comming from somone from (I assume) japan

---------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks to Tetuo, I have made a new wall cover for this home and desided to upload it here.
I am still going to work on it but this is what I have done so far...

Awesome. Entirely awesome. Long-time otaku though I am, I've only recently gotten around to watching Ranma (almost done with the second season). It is truly a classic, and it'll be great to have the Tendou Dojo in The Sims 2. Now if only there were some Ranma sims to put in it... >_>

I was actually already planning to make the Masaki house from Tenchi Muyo (the OVA series, more specifically OVA 2 and 3, after it was blown up and rebuilt) in The Sims 2, and after seeing this I feel even more compelled to do so. (Not that I'm going to have any Tenchi Muyo sims to put in it, either)
