Other than InSim (of course) what is your favorite custom content site?
Is it free?
Is it donation?
Why do you like it?
I am putting together a list of sites to use for my InSim soap opera and since it's starring the people of InSim, I thought to use what you all liked.
If this isn't an appropriate place for this thread, can someone please either move it or delete it?
Thanks heaps everyone!!

Well, it could be a great time for me to try on that new sweater and jeans I got from MI   Other than that, jeans, untucked tees from MTS2.  Biker type style.  Nothing metro, emo, glam, or in style  lol

MTS2, I like to think of it more like a thrift shop where you'll find just about anything.

It's hard to say exactly which site is my favorite because I like so many for different reasons.  I love MTS2 because there are some truly awesome and unique creations there.  I love this site mainly for Squinge's mods.  I have found a few cool objects and clothes here that I've liked but overall the stuff here doesn't suit my taste.  I visit TSR on occasion and paid a couple of months worth of subscription a while back to get some of the really awesome stuff.

I've been to many, many sites that people have said, "Oh, they have the greatest stuff there--you've just got to have it!", and maybe I have a better graphic card or something, but too much of the time I get the objects into my game and the meshes are just not quite right or the textures are downright awful.

I am terribly choosy about what I download and even more choosy about what I keep in my game.  One huge benefit to this is that it keeps my Downloads folder to a reasonable size. LOL

There's so many I downlaod from, mainly Insim & MTS2. But my faves are WDS, Rose,Peggysims,Reflex & 4evasimfantasy. I use both pay & free. Only sub I've ever kept going is WDS.

What?!? Retailsims just quit!? No way!!!

My favourite sites:

For hair: XM Sims, here, MTS2, Peggy, Sims Connection, Noukiesims2
Clothes: Artemistha, Simderz, Noukiesims2, Spicy Sims, here, MTS2
Furniture: Avenida Sims (a very underrated site, they have some really beautiful furniture meshes), MTS2, here, Meshkiste, Sims Connection
Miscellaneous weird stuff: Simslice, Sims 2 Workshop

Obviously there are more, but I'm just citing the ones which just spring to mind the most.

my favourites (in no particular order...)

Peggyzone - my DL folder is quite heavy with peggy hairs...

XM-sims - my DL folder once was quite heavy with XM hairs - but I found out I never used half of them anyway. Only have those I use now.

MTS2 - most of my CC comes from there.

insim - it's got the best forum Cheesy and it's easy to upload my own CC to. Also, the most awesome CC creators resides here too...

eclectic-sims - I love the toddler/infant stuff

TSR - got awesome stuff (though some a bit too heavy for my computer...)

Blackysims - I've found a lot of awesome clutter there

Raonsims - love the hair meshes, too bad that most of the hairs are not binned Sad (luckily I've got MTS2 for that Cheesy)

simsquirts - loved their toddler clothing (too bad the site is down... Sad)

retailsims - awesome hospital stuff and other usable things

wallsims would've been one of my favourites - IF and only IF their meshes were actually usable as furniture - aka. the chairs/beds/etc working wth correct animations. Whoever creates things for them never realize that the things should actually be usable... so I use the downloads from there mostly as clutter...

all about style/glamorouslounge/liana/and a couple more clothing sites that Ican't remember the names of right now - because they've got awesome clothing Smiley

(and of course the *cough*booty*cough* Cheesy)

My site:
