Is it possible to switch out of fullscreen mode into windowed mode? When searching online, the only information I have found is for using Command-H to hide Sims 2, but I would prefer to use windowed mode if that possibility exists. Thanks.

If you check the read me file that came with the game, there will probably be something there.  I know it contains -w for windowed mode on a Windows system, but it may be different on a Mac.

It doesn't exist. The only thing you can do is hide it and you know this already.

Hold the option key as you're starting the game, then it'll give you the option for windowed or full screen.  Most Mac games holding the option key will start up a 'secret' menu, actually.

Only a correction, it's the command key, not the option one.

Quote from: Sims2 Read Me
You can access a dialog box to set game resolution and access windowed mode by pressing and holding the Command key (⌘) when double-clicking the "The Sims 2" icon to launch the game.

On a side note, it works for Body Shop too, while it's not documented: it will show a window in which you can choose to run BS in 1024x768 resolution instead of default 800x600.
