I heard they were coming out with a sims 3! Has anyone else heard of that rumor?

isnt that an old chestnut that someone was bandying about befor nightlife came out?
(i seem to remember someone had posted a link to some dodgy website that looked reasonably ok, but wasnt actualy connected to maxis or EA)

then again, it might have been a miss-reported copy of Sims2 for PS3 tongue

Oh...I don't see how they are going to develop the sims any further...I mean, TS2 is pretty high tech. What specifications are our computers going to need...I know my laptop won't handle it. It can barely cope with TS2, the expansion packs and all my custom content! Smiley

They can get even more life like. But i'm with you all the way my computer might blow up if i load a new sims 3. The content that I have and the games makes my computer slow at times.

I doubt it. Sims 1 was also $50.

Yeah I can see lots of things that can be changed. But yeah most pc's right now probably wouldn't be able to handle it.

nope! its coming out on Feb 29 for Seasons exp.

and i dont get it, people said their pcs or laptops will blow up if they get new Sims 3. my computer works just fine with 500 GB. and i got it like 4 years ago. if you get Sims 3 then you can uninstall sims 2 and all the exps and custom contents and install sims 3 and sims3 stuff so it wont blow up
