Update time! woot woot! Cheesy This one took a while, but I hope it's worth it! =]

Tonight was my big date with Melissa, and I HAD to look my best.

But, of course, I was interupted when my mom came into the room.

"What ARE you doing?" she asked. "Getting ready for my date." I replied. "OH! My Spencer is going on his first date! How exciting!" she giggled.

Just then she ran out of the room, she came back carrying a tux. "Try it on, then come outside and let me see how you look." she told me. So I put on the tux and stood outside my bedrrom.

"How do I look?" I asked, adding some cool-guy impression.
"Swash-buckeling." my mom replied, what ever that meant.

"You look great!" she continued. "But, we need to fix your hair. And so, over course, we did. When we were finished and my mom was satisfied I headed out the front door.

I spotted some flowers on our front porch and grabbed on for Melissa.

Then I headed down the stairs and off to pick up Melissa.

The place the dance was being held at was HUGE.

"Well, shall we?" Melissa asked. "Uhhh, yea." was my reply.
We headed up the front stairs and into the foyer.

There weren't that many people at this dance, just the usual people from school.

"Let's go sit down." I heard Melissa offer. I didn't say anything, just followed her over to the bar area.

We sat down and started talking. "So, Spence, I can call you Spence right?? Well Spence, I'm really glad you asked me to this dance. You seem..." I wasn't ever paying attention to what she was saying. I couldn't stop gawking at her.

"Y-yea, mm hm." I nodded like I was paying attention.

"Hey! Let's go dance!" she suddenly blurted out. "Yea, alright." I said as I followed her out onto the dance floor.

We were having so much fun. And she seemed so happy to be around me.

"Oh my gosh! They have kareoke!" she said shocked. She grabbed my hand and we rushed over to the kareoke machine.

I felt uncomfortable at first, but, she seemed to open up easily so, I just let go and acted like a fool.

When we finished the song, we looked at eachother and burst out laughing.

"We totally rocked!" she said happily. "Yea! You should go on American Idol." I complimented her. "Nahhh, hahaha." she chuckled.

When the night started to calm down, we headed back onto the dance floor. Melissa quickly took my hand and pulled me close to her. When we started dancing so close, my heart began pounding like crazy.

She either was really into the music, or really into me.

"Spencer, let's go outside, it's such a nice night." she whispered.

Once outside, we found a nice secluded sitting area.

We sat down across from eachother and no one said much for a while. Then, she reached her hand out and touched mine.

"Spencer, I, I really like you. You're a really awsome guy." I was surprised to hear these words, and coming from Melissa's mouth!

"Yea, same here. Exept, not the guy part." I responded. She smiled at me and laughed.

We sat there for a while, just holding hands.

"Come with me." she said and got up out of her seat. We headed onto a little bridge and she pulled me in close.

That was the happiest moment of my life. When Melissa kissed me.
