:punch: Wasn't sure where to put this. I downloaded a mesh and I would like to make a texture to put over it. How do I do this? I can't even find the mesh. I'm not supposed to see it in bodyshop right? But won't it have a thumbnail or something? Ah..

without a texture, you probably won't see the mesh...find where you got the mesh from, get anything that fits that mesh, and then start from there....

yes - but be cautious - not all creators allow recolours and policies about including the original mesh with your recolours vary.  So make all you want for your own use, but tread lightly when sharing them.

thx for the help beosboxboy! I'll be sure to read the faqs and ask the creators when I'm not sure.
