Hehehe

My downloads folder is...

4.2 gigs, 9,560 files, 262 folders

My saved sims folder is...

30.1 gigs, 110 files

AND I should get extra credit because ALL of it was downloaded with DIAL UP.

Cheesy

What?  I don't have a problem... really... I can stop anytime I want to!

Hey!

Mine is a little over 5 gigs. Last fall I even bought a bigger hard drive so that playing the game wouldn't drag my computer down. At least that was my excuse anyway Smiley. My husband still hasn't that figured out. I am a download-aholic and proud of it! More stuff! More stuff!

LOL--- I told my hubby we needed a new pc for "school"...

He hasn't figured it out yet either... but you should have heard the guy at Dell when the only question I kept asking was "Yes, but will it play ALL the Sims Games, Ep's and Sp's?Huh???"  lmao

But I really, really, don't have a problem.... really I don't....

My CC folder consists of:
448 MB, divided up into 823 files, which are divided up into 15 subfolders.

Today alone, I think I added 100 MB or so of CC.
Despite this, I'm still getting decent load times.

I am shocked to find I only have 1.56 GB at the moment. I thought it would be MUCH more than that. Smiley

Since I just ditched my old downloads folder and restarted, it's a lot smaller than it would usually be but...

1442 Files & 29 Folders = 667 MB

My old one?

4012 Files & 131 Folders = 1.37 GB

Um...I have a bit more than average I think.  It's 10.8 gigs, and I still download, I know... I'm very bad.  It only takes about 10 to 15 minutes for my game to load though, so I'm happy with that.

Of course the quick loading might have something to do with the fact I use msconfig to disable all services and junk on my computer when I run my Sims game.  I would recommend it if you have a large d/l folder, but be aware that processes and services will stay disabled until you tell msconfig to make a normal restart.

I have...OMG...35,000 downloads...OMG!  I'm told we're alloted 65,000...trying to get there...lol!  Not really, but I shall soon go thru and weed the whole shabang of old stuff.  Takes about 20 minutes to go "ingame"...but I have such great stuff...I don't mind.  I just play the Wii until it loads...or eat, or wash some dishes.  I'm sick!
