I'm a downloading maniac. I checked the size of it yesterday, and it is 5.01 GB, which is massive! My game takes about 12 minutes to load on my laptop, which is so much better than my half an hour time it used to be on my old desktop. But I'm a download freak, so I'm lucky I have a 200 gb hard drive. And I can get an external hard drive if I really need to. xD

1.75 GB which is much better than the 3.70 that I had before I started cleaning out what I didn't need lol.

Recently I reached the amazing number of 4.5 GB and my game has started groaning and moaning. I think it's time I cleaned it. :/

At the moment mine is 2,03 GB - 5.553 - 256 folders.
I've been deleting what I don't really use and at the same time downloading new stuff.  Grin

The highest mine has been is right at the 10 GB mark, 9.64 to be more accurate.

I had around 11,000 with all that space being taken up and at the time I had NO folders.

Since I killed the computer and its ressurection I have 12,327 (and counting) but I'm only using up 4.6 GB on a 1024 MB RAM 320 GB Hard drive computer.


I need more downloads... Cheesy

1024 MB and you need more CC? The threshold for mine is 4.2 GB. After this the loading time gets above 3-4 minutes and the loading screens and changing households can seem a bit of adventrue after a few gaming hours.

P.S. 650 GB HD here.

My magic number now is 9.24 GB. I was doing well for a few months, but then I found some must have items over on Sims2Cave, so I went on a spree that ended with me snagging a lil' under a gig of CC. I think I'm done for now. I make my own stuff most of the time these days, but this stuff I found was to good to pass up.

Simscave is doom for any Downloads folder LOL. I just reloaded Sims 2 on my computer (my hard drive exploded), so I don't have nearly what I had before (12 gb). I'm being a lot more discriminate regarding what I download this time around, but I've still got just under 2 gb already. I haven't spent much time at Simscave, but it's going to happen and my folder will cry.
