Do you prefer to clean out your files in or out of the game?

It lags, then the screen turns blue, and after a few of the blue screens, it turns black, then shuts down.

You're not the only one with this glitch I'll tell you! You must have an Nvidia card then, eh? Here's a link to a Maxoid's blog who talks about this bug. There's a cheat that can fix it until they work out a better solution. Smiley I've had the EXACT same problem, and now my game doesn't crash anymore when I use the cheat. But still, I hope Maxis fixes the problem completely soon.

Hope you fix the problem, downloading can be a bugg - an annoyance sometimes  But I guess TS2 isn't worth playing unless you enjoy it, and who enjoys Maxoid stuff?

Mine was HUGE!!! Though more than the half was stuff I never use so I deleted it all and restarted downloading. I'm crazy but now I know that I use everything and am not slowing my game down.

i have just over 7.5 gigs of cc.   i know i need to get it cleaned up.  it just seems like so much work.  my game takes about 25 mins to load up, and i would like for it to be faster.  now that seasons is here, i am considering just starting over with the cc.  Smiley

Mine's just over 3GB now; I removed my DL folder before installing Seasons, let the program generate a new DL folder, and gradually moved some of my CC back in. Of course, I had to do a bit of culling, as I am far too conscious of the loading time; currently it takes roughly 5 minutes for my game to load up.

Let's just say that it should be called Boarderline Ridiculous (my friends say that my bra size is that too, JJ)

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!

I put my downloads somewhere, deinstalled The Sims 2, installed it again, put back downloads (cut-paste), and figured it weren't working. So I deleted The Sims 2 again, AND NOW ALL MY DOWNLOADS ARE GONE! Sad I feel horrible. .__. They're gone because I used "cut", and not "copy". I wish I made a back up. T____T

Is it gone forever? I mean, they must have put the stuff SOMEWHERE... But it's not in my bin. ;-; Seriously, I feel upset. Sad
