My oldest brother was 18 when I was born and I don't really know him at all, so make sure you're there to watch this young one grow up! I've been told that if you can catch little brothers early enough, you can train them not to be a pain in the butt, although I have no experiance in this because I am the youngest child of seven! Best wishes to your mum and all of you!

Oh awesome!!!! Thats really exciting.

Girls arn't the best for little sisters. I have 2 and it isn't a piece of heaven. They argue and have really bitchy little fights! I'm so over 8 and 6 year old girls. My sisters think they know everything! At least my brothers arn't that bad..

What a darlin! Congratulations to your mother and the rest of the family! And what's wrong with the name Marcus? That's what I hung on my kid... Wait, she might not want to use it, considering what kind of a heathen my boy can be... Anyhoo, glad it all went well and he's a beautiful child, really he is!

Lol i don't even know how to spell my own brothers name!! I think its nice, but he will just end up being called Mark. And i don't think Marcus James sounds too good! Doctors had to take him away cos he kept turnin purpley blue!

Hmmm, Marcus James sounds fine to me... I hung a few middle names on my kid and you ought to see heads whip around in the store when I call him by his full name! I had some people to honour.... And Markus is another spelling of the name, just not as commonly used is all.

Yeah,  just asked my dad about how to spell it, he said english way was Marcus and Scandinavian way was Markus. Thats what my mum and dad to my brother whos 16, Benjamin Patrick Gordon cos there were middle names of my grandads! I was named after a song by 'The Cure' Charlotte Sometimes in 1981!

Awww that name is so cute! My mum has an 3D scan of him when he was 7 weeks old. She was in South America at the time and her pregnancy came as a shock!
