Hard Poop!

Hi everyone!  I thought I would share my first attempt at building a beach house to be placed in the Bluewater neighborhood on the coast line.  I needed another home that was different from what I had, and was tired of waiting for someone to build one, so I attempted it.  I think the project came out well and decided to share with you all for feedback.  This one of the hardest part of the game for me, because I want my houses to look a certain way and I love the way the Sims 2 community build from their imagination.

I just wish I could be more imaginative.:smt120   Well here it goes....

Coastal craftsman style home
2X3 lot, 3 levels
cost about 116,500 simoleons
3 bds, 2.5 baths, driveway
livingroom, eat-in kitchen, recreation area in the daylight basement.

I have all EP's and happy holidays stuff pack
Fully-furnished with Maxis, outside is landscaped :-P

Custom content on the outside

Clump of Grass- Lethe @ http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=50252

Big Rose- Veggie @ http://www.sims2me.de/

I included 2 modular stairs, you must go to the site for installation instructions or the stairs will not show.

Thank you to all the talented creators above for making my game fun and my houses more realistic.:worship:
The file was cleaned with The Sims 2 Clean-Installer, there are no hacks.

I tried my best and hope you all like it. :happy8: Cheesy

Why had nobody commented on this house yet? lazy people Tongue

It`s charming, I love it, it just screams vacation to me. I`d get it if I had all the required EPs.

Thanks Dinki, I was beginning to think it was awful.  LOL, I liked that I was able to accomplish this without tutorials.  I am honored by your comment.

The only custom content that needs downloading is the modular stairs, because they need to be installed by text and the links to the site are in the post.  Everything is included already. Thanks for the encouragement, and have a nice day.

Thanks Dinki, I for one do appreciate your work also Wink.  I decided to do this Saturday morning, and tried to find out how to do the dip on the back of the lot for most of the day.  When that was in vain (no tutorials), I decided to do another lot and placed it high on the mountainside of Bluewater District.  Lo and behold, the lot I placed had a slope in the back of it, and I placed a foundation there, move the lot to the coastline, built the house in like, 2 hours.  LOL, there went my Saturday.
