really? i tried to have a big dog and a small one have puppies but it didnt let me. What did I do wrong?

I am not convince they can because of their different dna.

They can breed, but because of their different DNA the puppies will only use the DNA of their mother, therefore they can only have the mothers body and facial structure.
I am not sure if they can inherit fur-layers from their father though.
The only role the father will play is his appearance in the family tree
