You have to get the mesh from TSR. It is big bad shar's tea dress mesh.

This was once a featured download at Simply Elau's and one of my first works. I have very fond memories of these Smiley

Model is Faye Keats from my Keats soapie.

Update (22/1/07):
For those of you who can't access BBS's tea dress mesh, you can consider these conversions done by YANFRForm. She made them for feminime male sims.

These are cute as all get out. I wish you had use a share-friendly mesh file so that those of use who don't sub at tsr could use it. Thanks anyway

This was made when I was still new to skinning and publishing my works at TSR. At that time, it didn't matter to me whether it is a share friendly mesh. Hell, I don't even know the importance of that. But now I do and if you notice all my files are share friendly and uses free meshes now. It is just this one set that is technically "not free."

Helaene has a mesh that looks exactly like this. It is available at MTS2 (I got it there) The name is PinUp Dress and I used it to replace one of the FFS meshes, so it is in-game now. Your recolors are very good and will sure fit the mesh. There are 3 colors in-game and I only got one to look good.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks mamxnb. I appreciate the compliment Smiley
XPTL297, thanks for the head up. Yeah, now you have set me thinking. Maybe I should remake this dress so that it will be totally free for all to enjoy. I will have to take a look at the mesh you notice. Or maybe I will use a in game mesh/Sim Chic mesh. I am pretty good at changing alphas now to make whatever I want.

Well, here's an alternative mesh, and one I'm hoping you're willing to consider.  I took one of your recolors and put it on the Simmergirl adult male dress mesh.  I had to change the shoes on your texture but as you can see it turned out very nicely.  I'd love to have your permission to remesh all 6 of these recolors onto the Simmergirl mesh and post them over there!

added:  I took a picture in game of all 6 dresses so you could see how they look.  I think they're very pleasing on this mesh.  And yes, those are all "male" sims!

Looks like a really lovely site. Ok,you have my permission to use my textures for the mesh. But can you put the dresses here as a community download as well for insim members? I would love that. I will post a link to your Insim community download in this thread once it is up . If you can include the mesh, even better still. What do you say? Smiley

I say you have a deal and many thanks!     But I'll have to link to Simmergirl's site for the mesh in the thread here.  That's one of her conditions for using her meshes so I have to respect you for the textures and her for the mesh, so you both get a credit out of this.  I'll get the files together and make the new thread here soon as I can.  And of course, you'll be able to see them over at Simmergirl's site, too, with a link back to you here.

Thanks again for your permission!  The textures are just beautiful and it bugged me that nobody was able to use them unless they had a TSR account to get the other mesh.
