Testers Wanted: Only Parents Help with Birthday Updated(4/3/07)

I tested it with 5 babies to toddlers to teens. I did this in single parent homes with at least 2 non-relatives in the same room. The parent only helped. The only thing I noticed is that it takes a bit longer for the age transition to happen. Going from baby to todder to teen, the parent holding the target sim just stood there. About 1 sim hour (after the 3rd time, I watched the sim clock).

I only have the InSim and loads of other hacks by the greatness that you are!

I finally got around to testing this and I am sorry to report it did not work for me either. I only had a couple families going where I could test it, one had teens in the house and the other had only the parents. Neither family were able to age the baby. I think it came up in the cue but it dropped out by the time they picked up the baby. Kind of like what happens when you forget to turn aging on when you are trying to age a baby. I did have aging on.

I still appreciate you making my request though. I hope it can be fixed.

I just posted a new version of this mod it should fix the problem with not being able to age the babies.

Thank you! I was getting sick of the other teens in the family helping out. Squinge, did you make a hack where the baby wouldn't be picked up so much? I'm getting sick of everyone always picking up the baby.
