New EP4 Patch replaces the BodyShop Patch?

I still have yet to install Pets, have been waiting for the official patch.   Sometime in December Maxis issued the EP4 BodyShop patch, which I downloaded from the SIMS2 official site.   Today when getting the brand new EP4 patch on the SIMS2 official site, the BodyShop patch is no longer there anymore.   Do I still install both or does the new EP4 patch replace the BodyShop patch?  What if someone did install the BodyShop patch, what will this new patch do to them?   Thanks.

I installed the new patch after having had the bodyshop patch and my game is fine.

If you look at the list of fixes it says this

Pets Bodyshop is now compatible with older expansion packs.

So im guessing the answer is yes, its a replacement.
