Is there any way to do this all at once? There are a bunch of sims in the...I don't know, the screen where it shows a bunch of sims and lets you clone them? There are a lot of sims there and I want them all gone. Is there a quick way to do this, or do I have to go one by one? There isn't anything in my saved sims folder, so I'm not sure if that's where they would be. Thanks in advance!

babyblue - many of those Sims are pre-made by EA/Maxis and cannot be deleted.  We get asked this question pretty frequently, so you are not the only one that thinks they stink

The ones you can delete will have a big * on the preview.

Depending on how you download and install Sims from the Internet, it may be pretty hard to delete them "all at once".

Usually Body Shop is faster than the game, so try that first.  If you still need an "all at once" method I will detail how to do this with SimPE, but expect it to take an ungodly amount of time scanning your game folders.

If you happen to know the filenames of the sims you want to delete you can just delete the files from the saved sims folder or Downloads, depending on where they are. I have all the insim selfsims in their own folder, if I want to remove them all at once (yeah right Wink) I can just delete the entire folder and they all will be gone at once.

that is one thing that has always buged the heck out of me. Most of the time the sims are call 53262987298349820123019270127307231094file. I hate that. I want to beable to put all my sims in their own little fild in my downloads. I have gotten to the point I just put all files call 984293479273492849273423948602.file in one folder lmao

Well, I finally deleted all the sims, but it took FOREVER. It was like there was a new sim for each outfit I downloaded. And, unfortunately, maxis is stupid, so I can't delete their nasty sims. *sigh* Thanks for the help, guys. I don't really like playing with SimPE because it takes too long, so I think I'll pass on that one. You guys are great!
