[ a few people who are far more talented than I am asked me to finish off Cirian and Lians story from the 'Be My Valentines' contest. So I did. I did not retake any pictures from the first two rounds because ... well because I didn't feel like it. Also there is more than 6 pictures for the last chapter because I wasn't part of the contest anymore, I can do that! Anyways, here it is, in it's entirety. I hope you enjoy. ]
I was the prince of my world. Well one of them at any rate. No one could say no to me. Why would they? I had the best mating partners. Plus soon I would be king! I couldn't have had a happier existence if I had tried! The only dark spot on my happy life was that my brother Azazel hated me so. He despised the fact that he had hatched just five minutes after I did, therefor insuring that he would never be king until I was gone. I didn't care though, my life was perfect.
That was until my brother devised a plan to over throw me! Late one evening while I was sleeping he snuck into my room. He had gotten herbs from a banished priest. Herbs that would send me into another dimension. Far from him. So he could become king
I was awoken by a bright light and a small high pitched squeek. There she stood. She was by no means radiant. In fact she was quite plane. But the look of concern on her face was disarming! It was obvious she was scared, but it didn't seem as though she was scared for her life, but mine. She sat down. asking what my name was and how exactly I got into her basement. I told her what I could, I reasoned it was probably Azazel, he had never liked competition.
She then brought me into her tiny kitchen. Fixing me a plate of pie. It was like heavan. I had never eaten anything so sweet or delicious before. She told me her name was Lian and that she ran a small grocery store in town. She then asked if there was any way she could get me get home.
There was the problem. How could I get home? And did I even want to? If I did make it back Azazel would surely kill me. I'm not ashamed to say I was afraid, I was never a fighter. I told her no that I could never go back to my home.
It was then she devised her plan. I would stay there with her. I could live in her basement and come out at night. At least until we figured something else out. No one had ever been so kind to me in my entire life. My world is not built on kindness and good dreads but dominance. This plane frumpy girl was like a savior to me. A beacon of light at the end of a long grey tunnel.
In my world there is no such thing as love. If there was it would be considered a weakness. Something your enemies could use against you. The fact that I feel such things for Lian is a sign of my weakness, of my shame. It is the most glaring reason why I can never go home.

Lian owns this market in town. I've only been there once but it seemed ... kind of small. The only other person who works there is this guy named roger. She's been talking about him alot lately. Humming to herself while she walks through the house humming. She baked him a pie! Thats when I realized that Lian must have the love feelings for this roger! I am a PRINCE she is supposed to have the love feelings for me!
I have to tell her that her love feelings are supposed to be for me and not this doofus of a cashier! How am going to do this though? I don't know anything about the love feelings, they are completely foreign to me! Though I did find a book in the basement that seems promising. 'Love in the time of Scurvy' has taught me much about love! I wonder if Lian has any bodices!
I know once Lian is told that she is supposed to have love feelings for me she will totally agree. How could you not love me? I'm strong and handsome, and I happen to be a prince from another dimension. What's not to love? I am completely confident that she will be my queen here in this strange dimension.
Once Lian has the love feelings for me we will be able to rule this dimension with an Iron fist! She will make a lovely queen ... well with a haircut and a little makeup, also I saw a commercial for something called 'laser eye surgery' on the talking box, she needs that too. We will smite Roger the cashier and live happily
ever after. Just like Horatio and Jessebelle from my book!
... if only I could figure out how to tell her.

I didn't have to wait long for my chance to tell Lian about the love feelings. An opportunity dropped into my lap so to speak! The man on the talking box, this Doctor Phil, says that when opportunity knocks you better open the door before it breaks the window!
One afternoon Lian came home from the grocery store looking distraught. It turned out Roger the cashier had run off with the produce delivery woman! Lian spent most of the afternoon crying. It hurt inside to see her so upset. I hated this roger! He would be lucky if I didn't flay him alive! Lian was more important right now though. I told her that I had a plan to cheer her up though!
You see Halloween was the very next day. I had come to learn that in this dimension people dress up for Halloween and then go and beg for candy from strangers. While the candy didn't interest me, the idea that everyone would think that my skin and horns were just a costume were intriguing. I told Lian that we would go out on Halloween night and have some fun. That should would forget all about Roger the cashier!
I spent the next day preparing to go out. I would be a demon. So I had to look frightening! I choose my clothing carefully. I didn't see Lian at all until it was time for us to leave. When she came down the stairs ... it was like she glowed. I had never seen anything so beautiful in my life. When I asked her what she was dressed as she laughed and said 'an angel silly'. I didn't know what an Angel was ... but I knew it could only be something good!
We drove to this place downtown called P.U.R.E. There was loud music and the smell of something stale, like smoke. I didn't care though. I had an angel next to me and I couldn't have been happier. We danced closed to each other. It was perfect.
Just as I opened my mouth to tell her about my love feelings she leaned her head on my shoulder and whispered 'I'm happy you're here Cirian. I wish you didn't have to go home". I knew then that Lian and I would never rule this world with an Iron fist. She was too soft for that.
But maybe we could be together with the love feelings. And that would be enough.
3 Years Later.
Two weeks after our fateful night at the P.U.R.E. Lian and I were married. She had to explain to me what married was, but once I got the idea, I insisted that it happen. It was a small ceremony, but we were happy.
Shortly after we moved to a place called Strangtown. Lian said I wouldn't have to be afraid to be myself there. She was right. No one looked at me strangely or gave my horns more than a passing glance!
We now have twin girls named Lucky and Story. Since I was hatched from an egg we did have to see a specialist, but everything is working just fine now! In fact we're expecting another little critter soon!
Coming to this world taught me about the love feelings. It taught me that everything in life doesn't have to be destructive. When I lived in my world all I cared about was power. Well ... let Azazel have all of that. I've got something much better.
