Please, Please Help! Entire Neighborhood dissapeared!

I'm really upset because my entire 'playing' neighborhood has dissappeared...If someone has any suggestions at all, please let me know I'm desperate!:icon9: :icon9: :icon9:

Perhaps posting this question in the Mac section would be more appropriate. It would also have a better chance at good answers!!

posting in the mac section won't help

the neighborhood disappearing issue happens to lots of people and usually it is impossible to get the neighborhood back (unless you have a backup copy of the hood)
