Not to take away from Delphy's awesome programs, but I had problems with Q-Install from the get go. I found a program that works consistently for me at:
http://www.neoscrib.comIt's the robotic version of Sims2File Maid, and I haven't had any problems with it at all. Actually it was amazing the speed with which it installed everything. (I don't know what I did, but Sims2 File Maid quit working for me a while ago, I tried redownloading it and a fresh install but it never worked for me again.)
