Hi, I am playing with the Ottoman family created by Maxis in the Riverblossom 'hood, (since my own families now have different names and I have yet to figure out a way to get it right) , so the furniture in the house are the new ones that came with the game.
The sims can put the leftovers into the fridge, and I can instruct them to get it out, which they try to do.. only to get it out and for the leftovers to dissapear into thin air!
Don't know why? But I decided to go back to my old ways... put it in their own inventory, still fresh and warm when they need it later.

That sounds like a mod conflict or a cc fridge not updated for the Seasons ep.

I don't have problems with left overs in game.

Nope, the fridge that came with Seasons, and no mods that has anything to do with food or fridges.

Try to remove your downloads folder and see if it works fine without it.  If so, something in it is definetely causing the problem.  It is not necessarely a food or fridge mod.

Make sure all the mods your are using are the updated version of the ep you have, many mods still needs to be updated for the seasons ep, in doubt remove the ones you are unsure about.

You have to tell them to do it mule, but it is cool because the kids can eat cold leftovers now!! HaHA! At least it's more than another snack! Smiley

There should be a new option on the serve meal to "put away left overs" or something like that.  Sims won't do it on their own.  If you don,t see this option, you might have a mod conflict.

I moved the family out of the gouse they were in, and moved them to another lot, which I furnished with only Maxi's stuff, and this time I was able to retrieve and let the sims eat the food.

The only Maxis refrig I can use for leftovers is the $600 small refrig.  I took out all food mods and no difference.

Sometimes when a bug happens at a lot, the only thing to do is to abandon the lot.  I've used a downloaded shrub that allows objects to stay in the house, moved my families out and back in again.  After that, the bug disappears.  I'm not sure why this works.
