Just FYI: I'm playing with all extensions and items packs installed.

I have a Neighborhood dominated by one family. there are 9 lots, some of them are home to more than the standard 8 Sims.

Now two of those lots have a framerate of 1 to 2 (that is one or two frames per second) while others (even with more Sims) have a nice 7-15 frames during active play. Strangely the FPS is about 20 on ALL lots while in Buy-Mode or paused.

Yesterday I got totally frustrated with one of the SLOOOW lots and just packaged it to a file... opened it then with "Sims2Pack Clean Installer" and removed the 50+ people which were packed in the lot!!!

After installing the cleaned lot to the game and actually placing it somewhere, moving the family out of their old and into the cleaned lot all works fine.

So, maybe most problems with slow performance are caused by stuck people.

Happy cleaning!
