deleting lots how to?

I suspect i downloaded a lot with a mod, and now my sims can't call friends to chat they just hang up.But they can call sevice maid gardener and the like,they just can't chat.If i delete the lots i downloaded lately will that help? And so how do i :? :iconbigg: delete them? Appreciate your help greatly.Thank you.

If you picked up a bad hack with a lot, just deleting the lot won't get rid of it now.  The package file is in our Downloads folder.  Use Explorer or Clean Installer and look for a package with a long string of numbers and letters for a file names that make no sense at all and delete those.

Bare in mind that custom sims will have a string of 8 a hyphen and another string of 8.  Those should be ok.
