ok.. so we are allowed 1 stupid question a yr...??

ok.. i will be upgrading my pc in the coming week.. (after 2 1/2 months of gettin new and much better components ... yeah for me!!!!:pickleride:
 so i need or i need someone to much sure (in giving me a check list) that i dont miss anything in save my sims and house's... i was going to save/backup, my downloads folder , savedsims folder, collections folder....
thats what i know, but what about my house's that i build?? which folder/s are there in?? and is there any more that i need to backup.....??
 i do know that some of my mods go in TSData/Res etc.. but i will be updating them to season anyway.. so all is not lost..

You should be putting nothing in the TSData folders or any of the other folders under Program Files.

If you want your game just as it is now, back up My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2.  That will get everything.

Like ancient says, the easiest way is to back up the main folder. That way you get it all without having to worry if you missed something.
