Hi All,

1.  Is there a way to change the background in bodyshop?  The dark maroon background and lighting make things hard to see as they are in the game.

2.  There is a lighting hack for bodyshop that increases the light around the model.  However, the hack (at least in my pc) is too bright and it washes out any light colored skins and clothes to the point where I can hardly see them.  Is there any other hack that does the same thing, only not as bright?

Thanks all,

Mickey

For you first question, create a file you want for you background and save it as My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\userBkg.bmp.  I created a light gray background for this.  Then when you press F5, it will switch from the BS background to your background.

Does the file have to be any particular size? (like a wallpaper or something)  Or will any background type of thing do?  I can hardly wait to try it.

I'm guessing 1024x1024 since that's the size of mine.

I just did the background and it worked, thanks so much.  Now if I can find a lighting solution!  Thanks again, this is orders of magnitude better.

I just discovered that Wes H did a remake of his lighting hack.  It now has two lower lighting settings for Body Shop.  I think my problems are solved, thanks so much everyone.
