Another simple global hack for speeding the harvest time.
I setup the harvest time to 20 hours for plants and 24 hours for trees.
I know that some of you dont like that setup so I included a screenshot in zip file for your guide on how to edit it in Simpe.

Pls take note this formula on editing,
Plants:
the sum of values from line 0x0 to 0x3 is equal to harvest time.
Trees:
the sum of values from line 0x0 to 0x1 is equal to harvest time.

Monique:)

This is an intriguing idea!

Just out of interest: what are the default Maxis/EA values?

After more than 16 years of working with PCs using several versions of DOS (from MS-DOS 3.1 over DR-DOS to PTS-DOS), numerous versions of Windows (from 3.0 to XP, excluding ME) and even experimantally OS/2 and Linux, Vista finally did it: It made me buy a Mac!

It depends on plant or tree, just to give you an idea here are Maxis values for tomato plant:
0x0 19
0x1 29
0x2 38
0x3 58
0x4 72 (you have 72 hours to harvest it, before it will move to 0x5)
0x5 0
