I have never had a problem opening Bodyshop. Yesterday it would not open for me. I finally solved the problem by disabling my virus scan. Bodyshop opened right up afterwords. This really don't make sense as I have opened it with the Seasons EP and leaving it enabled in the past. However it worked, so it may be worth a try for you.

Make sure your are using the current BS that came with Seasons. I found that it wouldnt execute previous bodyshops and sometimes instead of using desktop shortcut, "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Seasons\CSBin" and double click the icon. Also, remember it may take awhile if you have alot of CC installed.

Try deleting the Groups.cache file in your Sims 2 folder. It regenerates when the game/bodyshop opens.

That's what I did.
