Error messages

Hopefully this is in the right section. My pc is like my car, I know where to start it and how to drive it,but when I receive error messages I am at a loss.So today I decided to check if I have any conflicting files using the HCDU and it stopped halfway displaying the following message:

What does this mean and how do I fix it.

The checking utility stopped at this and did not carry out the scan any further

It sounds like the utility didn't install properly. Uninstall it and then install it again. Make sure you turn off or disable your Anti-Virus while you are installing in case it is blocking something. If that doesn't work you will need to ask at Paladin's support forum.

HCDU can't be run from within WinZIP/WinRar.  You must extract it, then run it.  The dll will be found then.
