Problem with home business?

Hi everyone, I have just built my lot with a home business, I have a resteraunt plus a shop, but my problem is, sims are going to the resteraunt, (I can never spell that word!!!!) but no on is going into the shop at all, is it not possible to have both? :smt120

You didn't say what kind of shop but chances are the hunger motive is outweighing their urge to shop.

Thanks for the reply, the shop has got food, toys and flowers.
If I can't get the sims to shop, I will have to use the cheat move objects and delete the restaurant bit I think:smt120

I hope it's not because running a restaurant in the game sucks as bad as it does in RL :lol:  Probably the best solution though.

I have OFB, Seasons, Uni, GLS, and NL, and I somehow can't find the restaurant stove one needs to buy to open a restaurant. Does it only become available after you use the phone/computer to open the business?

It's normally available only on community lots.  Without the collection from MTS2, it won't be available for a home business.
