Hard Poop!

I have been having a bad time with my game, so I reinstalled it.  I couldn't find the problem, but I did save my lot files and did reinstalled my packaged lots.  Now I stopped being hardheaded and put all my hacks in one folder, for easy removal from the game when new ep's are released.  I don't mind starting over, but it's a hassle to find the hacks and objects that you can't live without.  One thing for sure, no more huge amount of skins and clothes, and no downloading of whole files either. Whew, learned my lesson.
Let's get to the lot. This is a replica of my home I grew up in Gary, Indiana. I lived with my aunt and 2 other cousins, who are like my brothers.  The house has 3 beds, 3 baths (the ensuite bath was just a sink and toliet in real life, but to accommodate my sims...) fully decorated basement, just like my aunt's home, only thing missing is a decorative fireplace. (lost mine when I started the game over) The Tv area was in the basement in our home and livingroom was never used, just cleaned monthly for dust. We had a small kitchen, so that' why we have the eat-in kitchen.  The boy's bedroom is in blue, (dud!) and my bedroom was in white.  The garage was turned sideways for access to the alley, (which was tricky, earned my skills in parking from there) but since I wanted to use as much of the lot, I didn't create an alley.
The side yard was for serious playing and fenced in for safety. (Ha!, we were not allowed company, but when auntie went to work...)  Maybe you will want to add a pool for later in that area.  Pet's ready, that is where our dumb great dane was located and he would sit on top of the doghouse if it rained. Boy, I loved that doofus.  *Tears up at in memories*
Note: I did change the tv in to the living room and the basement has the stereo, for better sims play.

Well that's about it, now for the stats:

Features: 2X3 lot, 3beds, 3baths, 1 car garage, basement rec area, fully furnished and decorated, cost about 88,124 simoleons.

Custom Content Included:
Australian Federation Double Hung Windows- Darkmarkloc @ ModtheSims2
Decorative plants in Planter- Macarossi @ MTS2
Fench and gate- Supatramp @ MTS2
White recolor of OFB door- Ailias @ MTS2
3 pane window- Zookini @ MTS2
Iron Victorian Fence- JS Simsbuilder @ MTS2
Flat Shrub- Pimp my Sims
Starlights- Xanathons @ MTS2
Bathtile, Flower pot and recolor- Nengi65@ NengisBuildandThings.com
Formal Beige Wallpaper- Grand Trianon @ MTS2

Thanks for allowing my to go down memory land and share one of my favorite lots to play in my game. Thanks to all the creators who shared their creations with us in the community and for their talents, I am grateful. Thanks to INSIMenator for this forum and allowing me to share my lots.

You must have all EP's for this lot to work. No stuff packs. This lot was packaged with the clean installer, so no hacks.

Enjoy!!! Happy simming!

Thanks guys!  I know it's a simple box house, but the inside is what I admired in that home. The screenshots are lousy, mmmm, I will try to get better one's up later this evening.  That's the thing about starting the game over, I forgot to adjust the screenshot levels, LOL! Sad

It's such a cute house. My cats and me would love to live in it ourselves.
And I think the personal story a nice touch.
It makes a house come to life.

Hmmph. I keep missing your houses every time you post them! Anyways, this house reminds me of my older sister's house; except, yours is roomier and not quite as ugly. Hah!

*backs up her flat bed, loads up house, and drives away like a bat out of hell*

Hey everyone, thanks for the comment. Comical, that's not nice about the sister's house. LOL. The outside of my real home wasn't most beautiful, but I really loved the inside. Memories of home, sweet home.
