Hi all,

As I mentioned in my other Star Trek post, a while back Mininessie did some wonderful Star Trek uniforms at MTS2.  The Originals by her are located here:
http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=163263

She did excellent work and was wonderful to allow me to make some conversions for them.  This set is for the Slim BB and it has been converted to two different meshes both by Marvine and Beosboxboy.  One is on the Military and boots mesh for those who like the more Military look, the other is on a regular pair of pants and shirt for a more casual look.  I hope you enjoy them.  You will find them here:

Special thanks to Mininessie for allowing the conversions and to Marvine and BBB for the wonderful meshes to play with.

Please let me know if you like these too!  I have some others in mind and they came out very nicely, but the original creator has not granted permission yet.

Thanks again all and enjoy!

Mickey

Nixnivis (http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=555429) have made some awesome First Contact uniforms for admirals, officers and cadets. They would be fantastic for the athletic and slim bodybuilder bodies. Maybe she wouldn't mind if you asked her for permission either?

I will ask permission and see if she agrees to it.  Thanks for the interest!

Just a brief update, I was given permission, but I have not been able to get the collars right.  You may be better off to get someone else to pursue this.  I know how to convert, but I am not good with original art to redo the collars.

What seem to be the problem with the collars? Is it a mesh problem or a texture problem?

Sort of both or either, The original mesh had a turtleneck collar.  When I convert it, the collar does not convert well on the sbb meshes that I have tried, but as far as I know, there is no SBB mesh with a turtleneck.  And to be honest, I just can't seem to get the art right to fix it around the neck with or without a turtleneck type shirt.  Nixnivis was very kind to give permission, but I just don't have the right talent for the job.

I'm not saying she will do it for you, but maybe if you make everything else ok on the mesh, she might help you with the turtleneck. I've got the impression she is a very kind and helpful person. Smiley
