custom careers not working

Hi
I have a problem since pets i can't get custom careers to work.
I have the danish game and i have 2 custom career that do work, they are old
from before Nightlife.
any new custom career I downloade either takes the name from the Maxis careers in danish or they are nonsens.
Can anyone explaine this ?

Many custom careers will overwrite Maxis ones.  It is usually mention in the post if it will or not.  Most are made for the English version of the game, it might be why they are showing funny for you.

It might be true but the 2 others I have are in english.
What should I look for when I am looking for custom careers if some of them do work.
