"life" stands still

I had this problem two times.. So yesterday I had my little family in its empty lot, everithing was ok. Then I built a little house, selected "life" and....nothing happened!! Time stayed on 7.48, sims stayed moveless.. Only the souonds of birds etc. worked.. What's this?? Please help me!

Are you using any costum content? When it's happen for me it's normally when there is a problem with something I have downloaded.

yes i am, do i have to try to see wich content has this effect?

You may want to check your options to see if free will is turned on too.

but the problem is that if I give my sims an action they don't do it...they don't even breathe..nothing moves...

I had this problem a little while back with one of my famalies.
I did the move objects cheat, went into buy mode, deleted my characters, saved the lot , went back into neighborhood, then back into the lot again.
they all were moving again.

You didn't happen to download any mods by chance, did you?  There's a high chance your game is having some sort of conflict error.  Try opening the cheat box and type "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" and see if an error box pops up.  :angel:
