How do you recolor different shoe meshes such as the red and blue?

If you get a mesh, and texture that are (I'm gonna pick 2forU's) blue for shoes, you just find the part of the texture that is the shoes.  Usually, it'll be near the bottom.  To test where the shoe part is, you can just color black or brown or lime green (lol) where you think it is.  If you get it right, when you check in BS, it'll be the new color.  When applying actual texture to shoes (boots, heels, anything) you'll just have to trial and error where the "front" is.  After that, it's kinda easy, although I still really stuggle with shoes.

EDIT!  If you have a little bit, I will take some screen shots of the texture, and how to recolor it.

Ok, just take a look at the pics, they should explain what you're looking for a little better.
