I'm running base game with all 3 stuff packs installed (not the holiday pack though) on my laptop... I have a few hacks in... inteen, insim, community lot weddings, no friends needed for careers, alien abduction hack and both gender pregnancies. And the propose option has disappeared and my sims can't get engaged anymore Sad

Are you sure they aren't engaged to someone else? Don't mean to insult your intelligence! If teens are trying to marry, haven't they gotta be at over 7 days into being a teen? Otherwise i would check for conflicts maybe?

Have you tried the sims 2 hack conflict detection utility? to check for a possible hack conflict.

Do like the Dork suggests; I think at least two of those hacks you mentioned conflict with one another.

...both gender pregnancies, I believe, conflicts with Inteen.

They're definitely not engaged to anyone else Smiley I forgot about the hack conflicts thing... I'd moved all my sims stuff to my pc which i cant get to at the moment, and I've got rather lax with compatiblity checking since I installed it on my laptop again lol.

Just running the hack conflicts utility now Smiley

From the looks of it everything is conflicting with the inteenimator! you can either keep community weddings and preg for all genders or take them both out and have the inteen.

Either Inteen or Community weddings and Both Gender Pregnancies. Inteen supplies the both gender pregnancy (I think insim does as well). I'm not sure about the Community lot weddings conflicts with since I've never used it.

I've not used inteen much, only to get one teen sim pregnant and I got 2 teens engaged but I guess I'll just get them engaged as adults instead. Thanks for the help Smiley

I took out inteen and I still couldn't get the propose option to appear... maybe celebrations stuff isn't compatible with community weddings? I had to remove the community weddings hack in the end and now everything is fine.
