I killed my DVD in January. After being used for several re-installs, and gameplay for 6 months before the first expansion, it was too scratched to be read by my drive anymore
So I bought a new copy. The nice thing was Target had the new holiday edition on sale for $20 just then, so I was able to get rid of the stupid EA installer that came on every time I started my computer after buying the mini-holiday stuff pack.
You can get it for $30 from Amazon/Target now (either just the base game, or the holiday edition. But why pay the same amount for less?), but it might go on sale again.
