I am going to assume by in the normal way means you clicked on the file and sent it to the trash can? If so, that is your problem. When you want a game or program removed, you need to Uninstall, or Remove the Program. You might try re-installing, then Uninstalling the FFS.

Then I would look in the Control Panel under Add/Remove programs, and see if FFS still shows up, if it does try removing it from there. This is all I have ever had to do to get rid of a program.

It should be in your pc since it is part of the windows program. Go to the start menu, click on the control panel. It should be under the my computer icon. There should be an icon that says add/remove. Click that and scroll down till you get to the sims. Unistall your family fun pack from there. You may have to reinstall it first and you may have to reinstall OFB too.
