Built this one a while back, but never really liked it that much. I decided to fix it up a bit and post it anyways. It's perfect for a small family, and offers quite a bit of room to grow. Now, onto the sales pitch...

New on the housing market is this rickety old country house; featuring only the finest in drafty windows, squeaky floorboards, weathered siding, and as an extra feature at no cost to you: an overpowering smell of mildew!

All this, and not much more, can be yours for the low price of $19,751 simoleans. Why, we even went that extra step to dispose of the corpse of the previous owner! (You did notice how healthy the flowerbeds looked, right?)

Notes: In my haste, I forgot to include a driveway (and the space for one) when designing this house. However, there's just enough room on the left side of the lot to fit one in. You can also follow a tutorial for curbside parking to squeaze in some parking on the street too.

Edit: Here's a link to a tutorial I wrote myself for curbside parking:
Sideways/On the Street Parking

I also dug out a basement for future quarters, but as for now it's unconnected to the rest of the house.

Features
Requires Uni, NL(?), and Seasons
2x3 Lot, Hack Free
Price: $19,751 - Mostly Furnished.
2 Bedrooms, 1.5 Bathrooms.
Unfinished, unfurnished basement
Moderately landscaped, garden included

This is a starter!?

*Misty signs up for Muses "Money Management" class

Can't believe you really don't like it. I think it's cute...and affordable is even better! I only just realized that my houses are too expensive so when I do start playing my actual game, my starter sim can't live anywhere! lol

Oh, and I think seasons broke the curbside parking thing. I've been trying to so it in the series I'm working on right now, but it causes some craziness.

There is a little icon in the corner of the screen in build mode that tells you just how crazy you are getting with your house. LOL I always watch the price rise with dismay, I cannot seem to build a house for less than 30,000 simoleans. Tongue I am very impressed by someone who can not only build one for so little, but also make it look so nice, no boxes here! Brava!
