You can also patch your game.  I believe that the patch solved that problem.

i have the clothes and i love them except that they wont stay on my sim when she starts getting a belly it goes to the outfie i downloaded when i got the hack, how do i fix this problem because i have downloaded some others and it just keeps going back to the original one that came with the hack. please hepl if you know how.

There is a tutorial on how to fix the recolours with simPE... (I've never used it before but I'm about to give it a try!)
