Don't freeze so fast!

Unless its a bug and I unaware (and I usually am) my Sims seem to freeze much too fast! Within a few minutes I'm an ice-pop and haven't been able to enjoy any of the winter activities. by the time they get to the spot I want them to build a snowman, or something, my Simmies are frozen solid.
If this this already out, or solved in a patch (yes duh me, I've downloaded it an not installed it yet) I'm sorry!

Well I know there are two patches out I would imagine it was fixed by one of those, of course I haven't installed them, but i don't have this problem personally

Stupid me as usual, I found a hack that'll work quite nicely in keeping my sims from freezing. Wheres my hooked on phonics..I gotta learn to read better, LOL. Sorry to bug ya's.
