Eros wasn't expecting any visitors, but this one was uterly weird. He didn't knock at the door and he came from nowhere.



And entered the house.



In a very weird way, like he was stalking.



He was wearing shades and the light seemed to bother him a lot.



When he spoke Eros could notice his British accent.



- Good afternoon, dear boy. I've been willing to talk to you for ages. Please, do not be afraid of me. I promise I will not harm you.
- And who the h*** are you?
- Mind you language, my dear, or one day you might regret it. I'm Ashton Aldridge, Master of the House of Tremere. Yes, I am a vampire, if you want to know.
- I can see that, Mr.Aldridge. Your fangs are very much grown...



- I rather call them teeth, if you do not mind.



- Aldridge, what are you doing in my house talking to my son??

The warning - cont[/color][/font]



- Hello, Raphael. I'm delighted to see you too. It's been a very long time since we last met.
- Eros go to your room.
- Yes, father



- Well, now you can talk to me, Aldridge.
- Very well, Raphael. I just want to remind you I'm not afraid of you, and do not even think of trying to kill me.
- That thought didn't cross my mind till this present moment. What do you want from me?
- You should be a little nore friendly with me, after all we are old friends.
- Friends? Who wants to be friends with you?
- You will, I'm sure, after listeing what I have to tell you.
- You should have already been gone.
- Patience, my friend. I'm here to offer you my help.
- And what would I need your help for, if I may ask.
 


The vampire smiled, but he was not making fun of the angel. He was being sincere.
- You are about to lose your power.
- I'm fully aware of it.
- And then who is going to protect him?
- I am.
- Nonesense!! You will not be able to defend yourself from a fly!! How do you plan on protecting him???!!
- I'll manage it.
- Bloody hell!! You are a stuborn angel, aren't you?
- Do not swear into this house!



- Raphael, if you are unable to stop him, he will meet her, and then everything will be lost and you will be dead.
- That won't happen.
- You are becoming more mortal every day. I can  even see the sign of beard in your face. Deny it now!!
- I won't deny it. It happens, Isaw it happening before and I know. It will take some time though.
- All right, then. I will leave you. But I will keep an eye on that boy. He is dangerous for my kind.



- Goodbye, Aldridge. Don't bother coming back.
- Oh, but I will. I will when you are too weak even for breathing.

- Who was that man, father?
- His name is Ashton Aldridge, and he is the Master of his vampire clan, the Tremere.
- There is no such thing as vampire, father!!
- Oh yes, Eros, there is. And he was in a mission of peace.
- He wanted to buy some blood from us?
- Very funny, Eros, but this is not time for funny jokes. He reminded me of something very serious. I'm about to lose my power and I'll be sick for a very long time, I believe.
- What do you mean, father?
- Son, I'm about to lose my wings any time now. And I won't be able to protect you from those people who killed your real father.



- But we have Mrs.Whitecloud!!
- Not exactly. Faith is old and she has never been a warrior in her old times. I'm afraid we are alone, son, so you have to promise me you will do as I tell you.




- I promise, father. You are making me feel afraid.
- I'm sorry, Eros. I didn't mean to.

Only Human - Part 2[/color][/font]

That night strange things happend in that peaceful house.
Eros had nightmares with a stranger he had never met...
And had the feeling of being observed...



And he was...
The Soul Collector was visiting...
And he knew he could not be sensed by Raphael anymore.
His powers were gone...



"Pain...
You shall feel pain like never before
Your angelical eter is becoming human flesh
And your wings are now mine..."



"You will have every need of a human
And will no longer fly..."

"You will cry tears of water and salt
Your flesh will bleed
Your bones will break
And I shall have your wings
You shall fly no more..."



"Pain!"



"PAIN!"



"Cold!"



"You will be dead if I want to..."



- Stop, please! I beg of you! I can't stand the pain...It's killing me...

- Good Morning, Mrs.Whitecloud! My father isn't in his bedroom. Did he go out?
- Good morning, Eros. Your father is napping outside. He is not feeling well.
- Father not well? How come?? He is an angel!! What happened?



- It happened, Eros.
- Oh...
- And he needs you by his side. He is very weak.

Eros went ouside to Raphael's favourite place: near the green house.
He was there. Pale. Quiet. So unlike him...







- Hey, son! Good morning to you too.
- Sorry father. Good morning. I'm worried about you. It happened, then...
- Yes it did.
- It hurts, doesn't it?
- That's not going to kill me. I've been worse, believe me.
- Yeah, but you were an angel, then...
- I'll live. Let me give you a hug.



- Please don't get tired because of me.
- Ah, that's nothing. Or you don't want to give your old father a hug?
- Of course I want!!



- Now, I don't want you to stay all Sunday in worrying about me. I'm fine. I want you to go out and have fun.
- Can I go skating?
- Yes you can, but you have to promise me you won't talk to strangers.
- I won't.



- That's my boy!

Eros went out. He was willing to practice his skating for days now.
Also, he was wondering if he would meet the beautiful girl he saw there last time...



He did need practice in order not to be embarassed in front of the girl...



And there she was!! Lovely red hair!! And she had a scent of flowers...or so he thought



She saw him... He had seen her ages ago!!!



Why couldn't he just stand on his feet and skate???!!!
Well, he was the man here, then he should be the one to approach and talk to her...



"My father told me not to talk to strangers, but she is not a stranger. I've seen her before, and many times here. I wouldn't be disobeying him..."



- Hey! I've seen you here before. You are vey good at skating!
- Aww...thanks. You are very sweet!! I hope you haven't seen that I fell down just a minute ago. *giggles*
- I fall more than I skate! By the way, My name is Eros.
- Hi, I'm Psiqué.
 



- Would you like to eat something, Psiqué?
- Well...as a matter of fact, I'm hungry. I didn't have breakfast today.
- Sorry if I'm being nosey, but why not?
- I'm trying to lose some weight
- You don't have to worry about that. You are perfect!

- ...and I live with my uncle. He is very strict but a loving person. What about you, Eros?
- I live very near here, with my adopted father and Mrs.Whitecloud. They raised me since I was six years old. She is a teacher, my father is retired, I think. But right now he is very ill.
- And you are not home with him?
- He doesn't want me to see him suffer, I guess. And besides, he is going to be fine. It's just...it's...



- It's okay if you can't tell me. Maybe one day you will.
- Thank you, Psiqué, for being so understanding.
- I'm not. But I like you.
- You do?



- Yes. And I dreamed about you. I mean, meeting you and talking to you.
- Oh... :blushes: you mean me?

Raphael was not the one who made Eros, but he trully felt like his father. He raised the boy and thought him principles, morals and love. Now he could hardly move without provoking a wave of pain throughout his body. Not to mention the blood on his back, where the wings were supposed to be... Even thought, he decided to stay up waiting for the son, who was not his...

Eros arrived home half past nine pm.

- Father??!! You're still up??
- Yes, I'm waiting for you. Sit here and let us talk.



- Talk about what?
- What happened out there? You are my son, you can trust me. I promise I won't tell Mrs.Whitecloud.
- Err...  there's this girl... I like her, father, and she likes me...
- This is wonderful!! Is she from your school?
- No...I met her at the skating rink. She is so lovely, father, like no other girl I've seen in my life!!!
- "Romeo, Romeo, why art thou Romeo..." Well, young Romeo, you inflicted a rule of this house. She is a stranger to us. What do we know about her? I'm very upset with you, Eros.
 


Eros's face went red and he got very angry.
- I know enough and I don't care what you think! I like her and I'm going to see her again!! You are not even human!! You don't know what is to love, what is to be kissed!! What do you know?? You are an angel!!!

And he went to his room.

Raphael was puzzled. In a real state of shock.
He should have been stronger and followed eros to that place, like he always did.
But he was so tired. And now he was weary!
He'd go to a doctor in the morning.
And then he would find out about the girl.
Eros was still innocent, he knew that. A parent could feel it. Although he was not his biological father....




"I'm waiting..."



Raphael went to his bedroom in order to sleep. Suddenly he felt something strange, a feeling of comfort and peace. He knew that feeling...

- Mike? Can you hear me? If you do, try to help me through this path I've chosen.
Guide me. The pain is blinding me...



"I'll do the best I'm allowed, Raph. I promise you that"

- Aunt Faith, I'm going out.
- Eros, wait! Your father is asleep. Wait and ask his permission.



- Permission?? Ever since when I need to ask for his permission to go out?
- You always have. But you have changed a lot because of this girlfriend of yours. I wish Raphael were not so sick...



- Oh, yeah? What for? to follow me like a moron? I don't need a babysiter!!
- I don't know you anymore, my boy! What is happening to you?



- I'm growing up, that's all!!



Raphael woke up and listend to the conversation. Then he decided to interfere:
- A grown up man would never talk to the woman who raised him this way. Apologize to Faith! Right now! And you are just sixteen years old!!



- You can't make me do it! I'm sick of you people! I can't wait to go to college and live far from here!!
- As far as I'm concerned, young man, you weren't offered a scholarship because you do not deserve it anymore. You once were a fine young man. What is happening to you, son?



- Just this: I'm not your son!! Period!



- And try to forget, at least, a little bit about me. Bye! See you never!

He shall not be allowed to see the Light

For he will destroy Her innocence

She is about to wake

For he is the One to be avoided

He can destroy Human Kind...

For he is the One not to be believed

But he was believed

For he is Death and Hunger together in One

He is not aware of his powers

When Light and Darkness join together only a pure Heart will be able to save Human Kind...
