Changing the looks of NPC's without SimPe?

Is it possible at all? (without having to redo it everytime you start up the game). I am on a Mac, and SimPe doesn't work on that (I am posting it here because I will probably get more answers here).

I have the basegame only.

Squinge, what would the world of simmers do without you? Thank you! I hadn't seen that.

Edit: Just checked, that requires Ep3, I only have the basegame so far....

Oh, yeah, I've forgotten to update it from I changed from PC to Mac, I used to have all the EPs, but I haven't afforded to buy any EPs for Mac yet.
