you can take screen shots by pressing print screen and then pasting it in paint or something simple like that....
 
or you can download a screenshot program which will save multiple screenshots instead of just one.

no problem. THe best is taking a screenshot of your desktop (or your friend's) and then moving all the icons to a folder that is not on the desktop. Then, set the screenshot as their background and voila! Instant panic and alarm.
 
It's an oldy but a goody. Doesn't work if you lose one of the icons though. I did that to a school computer and it's really messed up now Cheesy

erm, thanks...how do you do that for mac? srry, I posted here bcause I thought that would be the same for all computer versions!

Try looking for some screen grabber for the Mac by searching the web.  It will capture the image on the screen, then with some kind of paint program, you can crop it to what you want to keep.  

One possiblity is http://osx.iusethis.com/app/screengrabber for OS X.
